The Member of Parliament for the Wa East Constituency Dr. Godfred Seidu Jasew has donated several items to the Loggu Senior High School to enhance their studies.
According to the Member of Parliament, the headmistress of the School wrote to his office seeking support in the form of fuel to enable them to convey examination papers from Wa to the school (exams centre) during the WASSCE.
Speaking at a brief ceremony at the School premises on Thursday, May 30, 2024, the lawmaker said he is committed to the Loggu Exams Center and will make sure the Institution and District Education Directory continue to meet the conditions for running the centre.
Dr. Jasew in offering the fuel support, further donated 2 packs of Sanitary pads to the 56 female final year students, 27 literature books, 11 books of Elective Maths,11 copies of Principles of Cost Accounting books, and 10 streetlight to alleviate the resource challenges the institution is facing.
He admonished students of Loggu Senior High School against bad behaviour while advising them to study hard and pass their examinations, especially the final year students.
On his part, lawyer Abu Juan who accompanied the Member of Parliament advised students to learn hard and pass their examination, noting that intelligence alone cannot do it but intelligence plus hard work.
Meanwhile, the Wa East District Director of Education Madam Ayisha Ibrahim Jinsung receiving the items on behalf of the school rained praises on the Member of Parliament and indicated her admiration for his work in the educational sector.
