The journey of impact by Hon. On Wednesday , November 6th, Hajia Humu Awudu donated 30 classroom desks and sets of male and female school uniforms to Boli Junior High School, under her policy to foster effective teaching and learning.
Addressing a gathering of students, teachers, and community members, Hon. Hajia Humu Awudu expressed her gratitude to all attendees and emphasized the importance of investing in education. “Supporting education is not just an act of kindness, but a responsibility. The Headmaster of Boli Junior High School conveyed his deep appreciation for Hajia Humu’s ongoing support. He highlighted her previous assistance, which included funding an electricity meter for the school, and recognized her as a dedicated and compassionate leader who genuinely cares for the community. “Hajia Humu has transformed lives through her support—providing jobs, aiding institutions, and always responding swiftly to our needs. The School Management Committee (SMC) Chairman at Nakore-Chansah praised her efforts and urged the community to challenge traditional biases against female leadership by supporting her candidacy. “If Hajia Humu can do all this while not yet an MP, imagine what she could achieve in office. I have never seen a woman like her, and our children are our future. Supporting education is the best gift we could receive, and we are most grateful for her dedication to our school and children,” he said, encouraging the constituents of Wa Central to vote for Hajia Humu Awudu.
