A Pro-Bawumia NPP-led group known as “Digital Ladies & Gents for Bawumia” has hit various homes and Eid prayer grounds in Wa Central to share assorted items with children.
The kind gesture is said to be part of their plans to put smiles on the faces of the little ones and their families as they move to bid the 2024 Ramadan farewell.
The gifted items included biscuits, sweets, confectionaries, snacks and Cookies.
“We wanted to show our love and support to the children and celebrants,” said Empress Labaikah Amudah, Upper West Regional Coordinator of the Digital Ladies and Gents for Bawumia.
Adding that Ramadan is a time for reflection and spiritual growth, they hope that these gifts will bring a little bit of joy to those who are celebrating.
The donations were well-received by the children and their parents.
“This is a wonderful gesture,” said one parent.
The Digital Ladies and Gents for Bawumia is a pro-Bawumia group that is dedicated to supporting the presidential bid of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The group is led by Empress Labaikah Amudah as the Upper West Regional Coordinator, with Hajia Barakatu as the National Coordinator and Hon. Majeed Nas as the National President.
