Popular Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo Baah has passed away, sending shockwaves through the country’s entertainment industry.
Her death was confirmed by her husband, Eugene Kwadwo Boadu Baah, widely known as Choirmaster, formerly of the celebrated music group Praye, in a heartbreaking Instagram post on Sunday, May 24.
In the post, Choirmaster described his wife’s death as a devastating loss, saying her passing had left him shattered.
The grief-stricken musician revealed that his wife died just days before what would have been her birthday, finding solace in faith as he came to terms with the timing.
“It would have been just about four more days to your birthday, but I guess the Lord wanted to celebrate with you, so He called you,” he said.
Choirmaster paid tribute to Beverly as the anchor of his life, describing her as an irreplaceable source of strength and joy.
“You were my strength, my happiness, and the reason my life felt complete. I promise to take care of and continue everything we planned and started. Until my last breath, you will remain in my heart forever,” he wrote.
The announcement has since triggered an overwhelming wave of condolences from fans, fellow entertainers, and industry figures across social media platforms.
